In a digital age saturated by clean girl culture and increasingly out of touch, ternstiele aims to cut through influencer culture and show you what real young people are thinking and doing in and out of New York—raw, dirty, and unfiltered.

Whether it’s our weekly party-culture-investigation column Where Did the Party Go, our critic-revival column Avery’s State of Mind, or our art, film, and culture interviews and reviews, we’re here to capture youth and underground culture with a focus on the next generation. We spotlight alternative narratives across art, culture, nightlife, and media—placing unapologetic emphasis on the things everyone else is too scared to tell you about.
